Bolsa Chica Conservancy's
Earth Day Festival
Bolsa Chica Conservancy's Earth Day Festival will feature guided tours of the wetlands, bird watching, habitat restoration, arts and crafts, and children activities. Attendees will learn about the native animals and plants, wetlands ecology, and Native American culture.
The festival will include 25 different interactive educational booths. Children will receive mock passports, travel from booth to booth, and fill out trivia questions about the earth and environment. They’ll learn about the environment while having fun.
The earth day event is located at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands Interpretive Center. Booths will be set up in the main parking lot, so attendees will need to park on the opposite side of the street. Food and drinks will be available.
The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve stretches along the east side of Pacific Coast Highway, from the Interpretive Center at Warner Ave to Seapoint Street. It is open to the public daily from sunrise to sunset. The reserve is located across the street from Bolsa Chica State Beach.
